Well colour me unimpressed.

It seems that the Westminster area is going to be severely disrupted on Friday by the visit of an elderly German ex-Pat named Joe Ratzinger.

It won’t be so bad around my corner of the world, but it will be busier, since he seems to be hitting all the tourist spots at the same time with the exception of the Palace and much of the Westminster area is to be closed off.

I’m all for a bit of tourism, but most people just get the guided tours on the open topped bus.

I'll have to keep people updated on our personal version as the campus at Greenwich is due to be disrupted like crazy for the next month while they film some of Pirates of the Caribbean 4 here. Still, I guess it'll pale into insignificance when the Olympics hit in 2012...
