Whit's it all about?

Rather distressingly, it's Bank Holiday Monday - Whitsun, I believe, and I woke up at seven thirty.  I managed to doze on and off but no matter how hard I tried, I was fully awake and out of bed by 8.45. This what comes of going to bed early (12.30 am).

Having got dressed and pootled around the intarwebs, I think I shall go and put the coffee on. Furtle is stirring. By which I mean waking up, not blending.

It being a bank holiday and we having a week off, the council has decided that this is their prime time to dig up the road out front, though they have not started work yet today and cannot be blamed for my early start on a day off.

NOPE not Whitson, the real Whit Sunday is 12th June. This bank holiday is the politicians revenge because like Easter Whitson is a moveable feast.

Don't worry though according to my granddaughter the fireball knows where to come. "All Jesuses friends were worried that they might be put on a cross but God said here you are and bounced a fireball on their heads but it was ok grandma cos it didn't burn them just made them........ talk funny"
That's alright then eh?

OH I thought that early starts when you are living your real life were the best thing. All that time to do exciting stuff and talk about more exciting stuff. I love getting up early on holidays

I was up at half-ten yesterday, but I had gotten up at half-seven on Sunday. :o/
