Well, I had to postponse phase two of Operation Dancing Pigmy since I only woke up at midday and had a Chinese Laundry load of washing to do. That's done and so am I. Tomorrow I shall have to reinitiate the seach for the source of the Nile since the garret still looks more untidy than it would if Bernard Black lived here (Honestly, I'm not kidding), though he had me beat with the dead badger.

No doubt much to the regional delight of [livejournal.com profile] bladder, Villa completely Mullahed the Wolves at Molineux this afternoon. I'd like to pretend we were unlucky, or that the ref was against us, but in reality we were just crap. It's bad enough shipping four goals, but missing a penalty just put the icing on the cake. Still, even if that turns out to be the result that drops us back into Division One, well, at least it wasn't the Baggies who dished it out!

Still, the axolotl vats beneath the Molineux should be churning out the first Stevie Bull clones anytime now, and then we'll see something. I can dream, can't I?

Unfortunately, in offering the olive branch to [livejournal.com profile] bladder, and allowing that his team were far superior to mine, I suspect that the last comment about the Baggies might provoke the ire of [livejournal.com profile] keresaspa. Quite what a beleaguered Wolves fan is doing with a Villa fan and a Baggies fan on his friends list eludes me. I think I shall just not talk footie with either of them except when it comes to being rude to the Blues which is something we can all three agree on. Oh, and Man City dishing the goods out to ManYoo. I think we can agree that was fun, too.

Har.

Mind you, I was knocked sideways by the result of the First Test. I mean, who would have thought England could have so comprehensively destroyed the Windies like that?
