Is the movie Mirrormask best enjoyed with a cup of coffee or an armful of your Class A of choice?

We watched it on DVD on Sunday, courtesy chomper99 and caffeine_fairy. I had the coffee, Furtle read a book (though the chicken made her laugh) and colonel_maxim ate a fry-up which is as close to the drugs as we got.

I'm glad I watched it; I doubt I shall be watching it again, though.

Perhaps because I spent two years waiting for it, I was very disappointed - the curse of over-anticipation. It seemed less than the sum of it's parts - though I think I may have judged it harshly. Pan's Labyrinth was the film I hoped this would be.
