I have just taken the first steps toward growing back the goatee. It will be a couple of days before it starts showing up since me whiskers are very fair, but already I am close to striking a match on it.

Smoke and mirrors

Today is National No-Smoking Day.

As I am a contrary sod, I can guarantee you that if ever I manage to give up smoking before I end up pushing up the daisies, it will not be during the Health Fascists' equivalent of the Nuremberg Rallies.

In the meantime I intend to stoke up with extra vim today until I am stopped by a fall of soot.
