Never Volunteer (ironic cackle)

I'm off to bed shortly.

It's been a week at work all right. Nothing has gone wrong, or anything like that, in fact I think it's gone quite well. But busy. So, so busy.

Having volunteered to take up some writing slack, for The Game, I am finding it hard to find the time and energy. It doesn't help that the character really requires original writing rather than trusty old cut and paste. Still, it'll get there. Four more pages and it's done. Monday and Tuesday night, though. Right now my brane is mush and talking through my keyboard like this is as creative as I can get this side of a kip.

A weekend away from the keyboard, though not necessarily away from the subject is what I need right now. So that's what I'm going to do.

But first bed.

Note to self: Stop off and buy charcoal and chalk. Last reminder, buddy.

Blimus!

I was going to bed when I was hijacked by an email from [livejournal.com profile] boroshan which is now turning into a chat session (albeit short...).

Comic geeks out there will not believe this, I daresay, but it appears to be kosher. Meet Pavitr Prabhakar, the Spider-Man of Bangalore...

The Gotham Comics website is here. And should you doubt me still:

Spider-Man India

Who'd have thought it?

Just so you know

The plural of octopus is not octopi, which would suggest the word was rooted in Latin. In fact the word comes from the Greek, so the correct plural is octopuses or even octopodes.

Tentacular.
