Today I feel, is going to be long and tedious.
Quite apart from the usual quantity and quality of drivel passing over my desk, I am tired. I didn’t think I was going to be tired despite getting up at 6.00am after turning in at about 1.15 as at that point I felt fully rested and full of beans. I had a really nice dream that I still recall vaguely and I felt set up for the day.
Now, though, I have faded; it was a false dawn and I mean that only just metaphorically.
We hit the pub last night so that various LJ chums could meet

telemeister before he went back to Californie. It all went well, though we stayed rather longer than intended and drank somewhat more. I suspect that last night’s sleep wasn’t quite of the quality it felt to be on first waking, but we shall see if I manage to stay awake (I have just had a series of jaw-cracker yawns and my eyes are watering uncontrollably!).
Tonight will be quieter, I think.
