The Jasper Chronicles

At the continued risk of becoming a cat bore – though the ratio of people saying I should continue to report his antics is 3:0 (so I take this as some support with indifference on the part of everyone else, which is encouragement enough), I continue with the Chronicles of Jasper.

This time around there is actually very little to report; he is behaving himself by and large, though we are having to fall back on increasing levels of trickery to get him into the conservatory of a morning so we can shut him in to stop him racing out onto the street when go to or return from work.

Last night however, we got a picture of him that made us come close to splitting our sides laughing. Jasper was lounging on my lap, the very definition of louche, when Elle decided that she needed a photo of such feline relaxation and abandon. Of course, the brute moved at the exact second she took the photo on her iPhone:

I promise you that we have not photo shopped or otherwise messed around with this picture, other than rotating it by 90 degrees. It is entirely down to motion blur... )
