Rusty hinges

I think I need an oil change on my knees. Both of them feel weak and squeaky at the moment; it’s not so bad on the flat, and reasonably okay going upstairs, but going downstairs can be a trial as one leg or the other feels like it’s going to give way. If it continues, I shall have to visit the quack, I guess, but I already know he will just tell me to lose weight.

Ah, me. I already know that; what about me poor old pins while I am trying to lose weight? I can’t do all the recommended walking if the undercarriage is ratchety. I think I have a couple of knee supports somewhere – those tight bandages designed to stop your knee cap spinning off and embedding themselves in the wall. I should probably dig those out and try them. It just doesn’t feel right getting all padded up just to work in an office. It’s not a contact sport around here (most of the time).

Flatpack TARDIS

Ladies and Gentlemen.

It had never occurred to me before, but it is now clear and indeed, with hindsight, obvious that the Swedes are in fact Time Lords.

I have come into possession of a set on assembly instructions for a flatpack IKEA TARDIS. I call that proof positive.

Looks familiar...

One final post before bed.

An interesting still from next Saturday's episode of Doctor Who: The Doctor's Wife by Neil Gaiman.

I'm sure I recognise that console room from somewhere...
