I have just had an email from a Swedish friend of mine asking about the media interest in one Pippa Middleton, sister of the new Duchess of Cambridge. He is particularly amused by the fact that 'pippa' is the Swedish slang for 'shag'.

I thought you might be interested to know. That sound you hear is my knighthood going out the window.
