Galactica: spoiler free

Before going to bed last night, I watched Friday's episode of Battlestar Galactica.

After last week's mild disappointment, I am happy to say that despite being a little contrived, stopping just short of a deus ex machina resolution to a long standing story line the drama was back, and events are beginning to build up again.

Bad Gaius. No biscuit.

Did you just badmouth Lord Gaius ? Then to hell with you bounder, he's a prince among men!

I had exactly the opposite reaction, seeing it as an unwelcome deus ex machina and a cop-out compounding on the cop-out of the week before. My faith falters.

Well I thought it was exellent. Agathon's line about calling somethinga Cylon was very pointed and it's nice to see a fifth column (hope that's not too much of a spoiler) treated in the way they did. I didn't really mind the resolution to the Pegasus story either - BSG is very tightly plotted and I expect we'll see ramifications.
