Five will get you Tenn

The BBC's endless fundraising for the ever-worthy Children in Need continues in November with the usual evening of suspended programming replaced with the dire annual telethon. Personally I'd pay money for them not to show it, but it is in a good cause I guess and we have loads of other channels...

One bright spot is the news that there will be a Doctor Who snippet written by the mighty Stephen Moffat, featuring Peter Davison and David Tennant as the fifth and tenth Doctors.

Twenty years on, the fifth Doctor's costume is a bit snug:
"It is an honour for me to be able to make the connection between the Fifth Doctor and the Tenth Doctor," noted Peter Davison. "However, now is not the time for sound-bites. I can feel the hand of history on my shoulder, even if I can't do the buttons up!"

Interesting, I wonder what it will be like compared to the Pudsey Cutaway or the Concert.

(Children in Need always concerns me. They've raised millions, and not a single penny has gone to fixing that poor bear's eye.)
