I am supposed to be at the Oval watching England get humiliated by South Africa.
But since I didn't have to get up for work I naturally went to bed very late left the alarm off.
And now I find that some bright spark has turned the water off. I had just enough in the kettle to boil for coffee. There's not enough for a shower and I refuse to venture near the karsi on principle since having slept in in blissful ignorance my imagination is supplying all kinds of wrongfulness, extrapolating on the effects of a 5-6 strong Polish Brigade (tm) and nothing to flush with.
Oh Lord.
Since I shall be sitting outside this afternoon anyway, the shower isn't too much of a horror provided it's operating tonight, but really...
