LOST

Now E4 are being a little naughty. Or more precisely Channel 4, the parent channel are.

I have cheerfully watched every episode of LOST on E4 because they show it one week in advance of Channel 4. I suppose it's meant as an enticement to get people to buy digiboxes as part of Tony Blair's drive to ditch analogue TV, or something.

I now find, having watched the penultimate episode of the season, that E4 are not showing the finale. Instead I have to wait a fortnight, until 11 January, when Channel 4 are showing the final two episodes as a double bill on the same night.

I am officially narked; especially as the story is clearly building up to something in that finale.

Damn them; damn them all.

The reason thay aren't showing it is so a) they can annoy you and b) so they don't spoil the surprise.

What will happen is...

They are walking along the beach and discover an 80ft can-opener buried in the sand (Planet of the Apes Style) which collectively they can all carry to the sealed tin and open it ....and it is full of GIANT sized alphabet spaghetti which they can spell out SOS on the sand SOOOOOOO BIG ...that it can be spotted from space and they are all rescued and sent home.......including the polar bear.

Only the kid doesn't like alphabet spaghetti so he doesn't want them to open the tin…

The End.


...it's quite quiet at work to day.

That's reet kind o'ye, but I reckon I can manage the wait. I've gone since September waiting for Galactica, I can manage a fortnight for LOST.

I was similarly narked - it's certainly building up to something spectacular with Delenns warning of the Shadows coming the Pillar of Smoke, the Others, the Raft, the Hatch etc

I think [livejournal.com profile] nickeyb is attending the event at the club, she has the DVDs, if not sand walked upon by the cast.

A mass showing could be an amusing interlude....
