Time Out

I am taking a few minutes out from drafting amendments to a chapter of the Housing Revenue Account Manual (2007 edition). It is every bit as dry as you would imagine, but shouldn't be particularly difficult.

Nonetheless, I have got into a loop of indecision on how to approach a couple of paragraphs dealing with a Direction that has been repealed, but which still needs to be mentioned because the information is still valid for the period ending 31 March this year. I then need to add in information on the Direction that replaced it from 1 April. This should not be too difficult a task, but I seem to be swimming in a sea of indecision on how to set the information out and how much detail to retain from the earlier document.

I think I might go and do something else and come back to it later or even tomorrow when my brane has re-set.

God, this is frustrating!

bollocks to it

I once dashed off an English essay as quickly as poss, and dear old Brian Banks wrote "facile" under it and gave me a "C" (which was, for me, a good grade). Write something facile, Bry, and save the pithy creativity for LJ. Remember the maxim, "It's good enough for government work."

Tempting, but probably the equivalent of firing an elephant gun at my promotion prospects!

Have a couple of glasses of wine then things will temporarily at least seem a lot better than then actually are for a while
