You did indeed unleash a firestorm, and all over a few vegetables! As I dislike roast 'taters intensely, the poll was irrelevant to me. I shall content myself with saying that I much prefer a lovely smooth mash, or boiled 'taters topped with a bit of butter, or fried slices of 'tater.
Swede is indeed grotty, though, and so is cabbage. Peas and sprouts are yummy.
