Ya Gotta Love nt-Hell

In the middle of an online chat with [livejournal.com profile] kneeshooter my phone line goes dead for 2 hours. Sorry, Simon. Not being deliberately rude...

Call in to report the fault and find that a free help line is not free when you use a mobile. How else am I supposed to call in the frickin fault when I need all my account details to hand? Take an entire file down to the High Street and walk around till I find a vandalised phone booth which they never repair because everybody has mobiles these days?!

Next time I'm having BT install my stuff. And I'll get my telly straight from SKY. Screw the middle man. Screw ntl.

I feel strangely better now.

Nervy

I had to bully my boss to go home yesterday. She has a very bad cold and by 4pm she sounded like a frog gargling hot gravel.

Unsurprisingly she's not in today.

Neither are another five people, and their desks are too close to mine for comfort. Normally I'd not be too bothered, it's only a cold - albeit a heavy one, after all. But I really, really don't want to catch it as I have NWO STUFF to do from tomorrow onwards, and a headachey cold will instill a sense of humour failure.

Mebbe I should get a face mask....

Or then again I could just overreact.
