Ack

I'm up early by recent standards for a Saturday morning.

At the moment, I am still trying to get moving - a futile thing to do while the coffee remains undrunk, but I must n't tarry too long at the keyboard or coffee cup, since as I type, there is room only for one person in the entirety of the garret, such is the untidiness and devastation of the place.

It won't be tidy any time soon, but I have to make it at least navigable as [livejournal.com profile] forbinproject and [livejournal.com profile] westernind will be arriving sometime today (guess who forgot to get either of their phone numbers?) to collect the comic collection for the trip to parts north.

Fingers crossed they give me a call before setting off...

Elvis is dead. Get over it.

Just to prove that science fiction and/or fantasy are not the only genres to produce nerds, Auntie reports that a three-day Elvis convention will take place in Blackpool, England, over the weekend with the aim of finding the best European Elvis impersonator.

Had he not eaten that last fried Mars Bar, he would have been 70 today, see.

On an unrelated note. the Polish Brigadetm seem to be holding part two of their AGM on the landing again. They are drowning out the radio. I don't believe it.
