Basin City

Who'd have thought yellow could be so gory?

Observations: Laura Ashley does far less business in that city than Ann Summers... Probably best to bear that in mind when reviewing your stock portfolio.

I am tired.

That is all.

I think I might make my excuses and wander off home a little earlier tonight, although looking at my watch that may be a bit pointless.

Fekkity

Oh well. I have two new CDs I obtained at HMV last night before wandering in with DT, Liz and Chris (all sans LJ), to watch Sin City. I have wanted a copy of anything by Karmakanic for ages on account of the name of the band, and now I have something.

Yes, it’s prog, folks.

I also picked up a copy of Lone Pigeon’s album, Concubine Rice, which I recall having been recommended by [livejournal.com profile] immerwahr. I was surprised to see it on the rack, as I seem to recall being told that it was either deleted, or exceptionally rare to find. Either way, I am anxious to listen to it, having heard it described as the sound Paul McCartney might have made if he’d taken the Brian-Wilson-mental-sandpit-journey.
