Rudely awoken
Thursday, June 9th, 2005 11:42 pmI came home early and collapsed on the bed, listening to Lone Pigeon. I don't remember most of it, as I dozed off; I shall have to listen again - what I did hear was interesting.
Was rudely awoken at 19.30 by DT, as the games evening was about to start; I staggered downstairs, made coffee, and proceeded to roll abysmally poor dice for the second week on the trot. Never quite managing a critical failure, but not far off.
The dice hate me, but it was a laugh.
I think that I shall now have to start preparing my Dark Continent campaign, as I understand that we only have another two or three sessions left of this phase of
bytepilot's D&D. I rather hope that when I am GMing, my dice rolling is a little better, otherwise the players will walk it. Still, a GM has options players don't, so...
Anyway, time for a shower and then bed. I am vaguely hopeful that the temperature will fall a little soon, so I can get back to sleep. This is going to be awkward enough, as the hour and a bit's kippage I had earlier has, of course, woken me up entirely.
Oh well.
