Yawn

I don’t know why, but I am having great difficulty concentrating this morning. I just want to doze off at the keyboard and sleep. I occasionally feel like this in the afternoon, but never in the morning. I wonder if it has anything to do with the after effects of the cold/cough I’ve recently shaken off.

I think that I shall have to go for a wander down Victoria Street at lunchtime just to blow the cobwebs away. I want to price up a mini hi-fi system anyway. I am getting a little fed up with the CD player on the one I have playing CDs at any speed it feels like for several minutes until it settles down each time I decide to listen to something. It eventually behaves, but I just want something that works first time without all the bloody fuss.

The DVD Player in the living room is beginning to get choosy about the DVDs it plays, too. Most of the time it’s OK but now and again it throws a dickey fit and fails to recognise a DVD. The problem there is that the player I have, though elderly, is region free and finding a suitable replacement could well be a hassle. Not to mention the expense.

I wonder how strong I can make my next cup of coffee?

Er, whuhoppen?

I think I may have committed an inadvertent faux pas on the way home.

I was wandering along lost in my own thoughts toward Victoria underground and vaguely heard someone grumble behind me. A moment or two later a rather tall and unkempt bloke in a long leather coat wandered past and sort of tsked in my direction.

I smiled back. He might have been referring to someone or something else, after all. I really don't know.

I have no idea if I did anything, or if I did, I don't know what it was.

I have tapped the glass on the Give-A-Sod-O-Meter a couple of times and it barely moved. I think it's broken.

Oh, Lordy

Surely the end times are upon us...
