Faster than a speeding wallet...

A little under a year ago, a copy of Action Comics #1, the first appearance of Superman in 1938 sold for $317,200. That's the sort of sum that makes you look askance at your mother for throwing out your comic book collection all those years ago.



According to the BBC News website, it looks as though the vendor was short-changed. If he/she could have waited a while longer, they might have made a cool $1,000,000.
