Been here before
God, I’m bored. So bored that I am finding it hard to find the words to tell you just how jaw-slackeningly, yawn-inducingly bored I am. This weather makes me want to sleep at the best of times1, but with this boredom, wakefulness is a major achievement in itself.
I have work to do – that’s not the problem; making that work engaging and interesting to some degree, that’s where it all goes wrong. Everything I have to do I have done before; it is stale, repetitive and unappealing. There is some interesting stuff on the horizon, but it’s taking an age in getting here.
1And it’s somewhat cooler than it has been, too. Out doors at least…
