Been here before

God, I’m bored. So bored that I am finding it hard to find the words to tell you just how jaw-slackeningly, yawn-inducingly bored I am. This weather makes me want to sleep at the best of times¹, but with this boredom, wakefulness is a major achievement in itself.

I have work to do – that’s not the problem; making that work engaging and interesting to some degree, that’s where it all goes wrong. Everything I have to do I have done before; it is stale, repetitive and unappealing. There is some interesting stuff on the horizon, but it’s taking an age in getting here.


¹And it’s somewhat cooler than it has been, too. Out doors at least…
