Hello

While I am wandering the hallowed halls of LJ, indulging myself with some customary work avoidance, I thought I might say "hello" to both submissionary and good1zrtaken both of whom have popped up unheralded from the depths of Live Journal. I know ye not, but hello ayway!

Also to w00hoo and rinkyandmerlin who are both recent arrivals from sustainable sources.

That's odd. I don't get adverts. Clearly it's never been updated and is used to read friends lists only, but I don't see advertising.

If it's a plus account, it will be supported by ads, but my paid account filters them out. If there's no response after a month (I don't expect people to update if they don't want to, but a 'hello' back would be nice), it will come off my friends list and they will just get to see the public posts. I expect he/she/it will be happy with that.

Hi there!

No, I don't mind in the slightest. The only additions I dislike are those where there doesn't appear to be anyone at the other end. I don't mind if someone adds me and never updates their LJ - it's their LJ after all! - but a swift and friendly "hello" in response is appreciated just to prove there's actually a person involved!
