I am awake at my PC at 3.16am, despite being very tired and not a little sleepy, with the sort of indigestion that only a truly large pizza can deliver. One more Remegel, I think.
Hmm, okay. I'm glad I am not the only one who is not as keen on pizza as he once was. I've been wondering what's wrong with me. Pizza doesn't give me indigestion, it's just that I eat so well when my wife cooks a meal that something oven-ready seems very blah to me now. I like my pizzas thick, soft (no hard crusts, please) and tasty. A bit of cardboard with a couple of onion slices and a morsel of pepperoni will not do. Unfortunately, that's how most of them seem to be nowadays.
Oh, it was a good pizza, just too big. Two of us shared an 18" jobbie and both of us ground to a halt on it. A little later on I essayed an extra piece; I think, with hindsight, that may have been the proverbial straw...
