Glögg
I have just discovered that the Swedish variant of mulled wine is called
Glögg
.
Glögg
is a far better name than
mulled wine
and from now on I shall be calling it by that name.
That is all.

According to my sources, the alcohol level of the real thing is dependent, as with mulled wine, on the temperature you make it at.
Make it a little cooler to keep the alcohol, but it's not inherently alcohol free.

Seems to me that here in the States, Ikea sells Glögg by the bottle in December.
I vaguely recall having to fortify it with something...

Well, I'll admit it takes some effort.

Yeah, I fairly sure I've bought some from piekea.
It was too sweet.
It came in both non-alcohol and alcohol varieties, from what I recall.
