New Doctor, new Companion, new Sonic Screwdriver...

From the BBC spoiler gallery, courtsesy [livejournal.com profile] fencingsculptor, who has had difficulty accessing protobucket, here is a picture of Matt Smith and Karen Gillan as the Eleventh Doctor and his new assistant, Amy Pond.

Having refurbished the TARDIS prop for the new series, including repainting the outside to match the Hartnell-era TARDIS (though the external dimensions are very much new series) and made changes to the internal set to include doors to the rest of the TARDIS, we see here, the first outing of the revamped sonic screwdriver. Stephen Moffat has been a very busy new lead writer and producer...
