Lumbago, Sago, Prego

And so, Gentle Reader, I believe that I have found the answer.

It may be less than obvious from previous postings, but I am in fact, a great fan of the chirugeon's art. And indeed, that of the alchemist also. And it is in this latter connection that I have transmuted as it were, lead into gold.

As a result of this fortunate turn of events I am able to convey to you, My Only Reader, this unassailable insight; a fact beyond doubt. For as my body sits here typing, my psyche is wandering the room, smoking a cigarette and dictating whilst simultaneously deducing the meaning of life from the congregation of dust bunnies in the corner of my room.

The answer lies not in any fashionable twenty-first century tree-hugging philosophy; it is not a matter of spiritual enlightenment nor indeed ungentlemanly stretching.

No. In this technical world, the answer lies in the modern pharmacoepia (gotta loooove that diphthong). There is nothing Zen about relief from pain, rather the answer lies in 400mg ibuprofen taken in conjunction with 250mg paracetamol-codeine caplets washed down with a generous slug of strong, hot coffee. This latter is most important, for caffeine is the catalyst which makes the whole greater than the sum of its parts.

Remember that combination. It works.

Actually they're 500mg Paracetamol, 8mg Codeine Phosphate. If you took more than two of the little fellas, drink several litres of water and worry all nite.

Didn't, but it does mean I should re-write the recipe.

Damn.
