Oh. Oh Dear...

It might be as well if [livejournal.com profile] rumfuddle read no further.

I must admit, I did not see this one coming and I'm not sure how good an idea it is, but Catherine Tate is to reprise her role as Donna, the eponymous Runaway Bride from last year's Dr Who Christmas special for the whole of season four according to the Beeb. Freema Agyeman will appear in the second half of the season after guesting on a number of Torchwood episodes.

Criminey.

A Freudian Slip?

We have just had forwarded around the division, and email notifying us that Westminster City Council have decided that Cardinal Place, which has a very high roof over it, but which is otherwise open to the elements, counts as 'enclosed' under the new anti-smoking legislation and therefore it is illegal to smoke there. They have moved the designated smoking area upstairs above the roofing (actually, only a pedant could call it enclosed, but we do like our Jobsworth Fascist-Nannies in this country).

Anyhoo; as one still in the throes of giving up and behaving as a non-smoker, I am not particularly worried about the fact that smokers will all have to slope off a bit further than anticipated. What amused me and prompted the post was the fact that the email was addressed to "meany staff" which I thought pretty much said it all!
