That's the weekend gone then, and my week off with it.

Back to the grind tomorrow. Oh, happy day.

Today's enthusiasm

Well, day one of trying to lose some tonnage hasn't gone too badly. Provided I can keep myself away from buns and stuff at work, it may actually do something for me this time. We'll see. I could probably do with losing more weight than my self control will allow, but provided I can thin down by three or four inches on the waistline and so be able to button upp my groovy leather jacket that currently suits me better from the back than the front (and I realise that I'm leaving myself open for cheap shots with that observation), I'll be happy.

Now the weather has picked up and I can't grumble about my knee I should, I think, try and get into the habit of walking around the park at lunchtime. That won't hurt at all and besides, I seem to recall promising [livejournal.com profile] bibliovixen some pictures of St James's Park and the Palace in their summer glory, after the frozen duck photos earlier in the year.

As part of an as yet un-thought-through plan, [livejournal.com profile] ellefurtle and I were considering trying this geo-caching malarkey that [livejournal.com profile] oldnick recommends around London over the summer months as an excuse to get out and about, see the city and take some exercise that doesn't really feel like exercise. Who knows, it may just work...
