"The sort of people who become politicians are the sort of people who used to leave you notes." (Dylan Moran)
I am combining two posts, just so you don't get bored with the idea of a 'thought for the day', although I'm not sure either, how much longer I can be bothered with them.
Anyway. I'm a bit peed off. Those wot know me, will know that I am something of a night owl, generally going to bed between 1.30 and 2.00am and not getting up until around 7.45am when many are already at work or advancing on the office with intent. Well last night I went to sleep about 12.30, at least an hour ahead of schedule and despite waking up a couple of times to grab back the duvet etc, thought I'd had a good night's sleep. In fact I woke up at about 4.50 feeling quite rested, but decided it was too early to get up.
I still think I was right, but when the alarm went off at 7.20 and the radio came on at 7.30 my limbs were leaden and it took a burst of adrenaline when the 8.00 pips squeaked out to get both me and Furtle to pile out of bed. Maybe when the coffee has kicked in a bit more...
