Storming Norman Tebbit says voters should boycott the major parties in the forthcoming Euro elections in protest at the MPs' expenses scandal.

While being careful not to promote extremists like the BNP, Lord Tebbit suggests that a vote for the other minor parties as a group would be a shot across the bows of the three big parties tainted by the MPs' expenses scandal, it is worth noting that the wily old anti-Europe campaigner effectively gave UKIP the thumbs up without mentioning them. Sneaky old sod.

On one level I agree with him - same as at a General Election, if you don't like the main parties then vote for one of the smaller ones - just as long as the vote is cast.
