A public service

On the flimsy pretext that [livejournal.com profile] evil_sunshine, [livejournal.com profile] captainweasel's self described 'stranger half' asked, here is the delightful Sonja Kristina in her mid 70's heyday with Curved Air.

And I have thoughtfully included a link to one of their songs on MP3 for anyone interested. I love the band, but I suspect in these post punk, techno-blearch, neo-goth days, I am in a dwindling minority.

For the benefit of [livejournal.com profile] eldelphia, the piccy is now hidden behind

Sorry about that; I posted a link to what appears to be a small picture on the original site and then went away to do some work. I was as surprised as anyone when I came back and saw how big the bugger is on LJ!

Ah, a teenage lad shouldn't be exposed to such things.

Back to reverie...

Ah, so that’s what Stewart Copeland’s ex looks like! The world was so much more mysterious in the 80’s, before the internet. (Feeling simultaneously embarrassed by both my former 14-year-old and my current aged selves now, how odd).

Pls, pls pls... hide behind a cut tag?

Tagged for your convenience ;-)

Thge picture really isn't that big on the original site! I dunno why it's so large on LJ!

Cos on the original site they've probably been very lazy and used HTML code to make the picture fit, rather than using a proper piece of software to do so, which is far kinder on bandwidth.

Because you didn't use the HTML height and width limiters in the img tag, it shows up at the actual size of the image for the screen resolution in question, rather than whatever they've forced it into.

Sloppy webwork on their side.
