On the flimsy pretext that
evil_sunshine,
captainweasel's self described 'stranger half' asked, here is the delightful Sonja Kristina in her mid 70's heyday with Curved Air.
And I have thoughtfully included a link to one of their songs on MP3 for anyone interested. I love the band, but I suspect in these post punk, techno-blearch, neo-goth days, I am in a dwindling minority.
For the benefit of
eldelphia, the piccy is now hidden behind
Sonja Kristina in feathers
Sorry about that; I posted a link to what appears to be a small picture on the original site and then went away to do some work. I was as surprised as anyone when I came back and saw how big the bugger is on LJ!
It Happened Today (mp3) From the Curved Air album, Airconditioning
Ah, a teenage lad shouldn't be exposed to such things.
Back to reverie...

Sloppy webwork on their side.
