Maybe it's real..?

On the way home tonight, I took the District Linbe to Aldgate East and then changed onto the Hammersmith and City Line to swing back around to Liverpool St Station for the overland back to Ilford.

Anyone familiar with the London Underground will know that in the past fifteen to twenty years, the number of 'helpful' notices (along with the continuous bloody announcements over the PA) have increased exponentially, so you no longer have to think for yourself.

So, while I believe this to be a spoof, I am just short of being 100% certain...

Sounds like some serious business. Especially if they start dancing, too. It doesn´t specify, whether the seated person has a choice of who shall land on their lap. This is somewhat sad. Otherwise a perfect solution.

When I first came to London back in 1984, a person had to navigate the Underground system by tapping into the Earth's magnetic field.

These days there are "helpful" signs everywhere, most of them bloody obvious, like 'don't step on the electrified rail'. On the trains themselves the notices are platered like wall paper all over the place and they are all in that white on blue style, which makes the spoof so good.
