caddymanIt is Sunday night and we return to the question of soup making.
As a solitary bloke I have just spent the last hour attempting what I believe may be a credible solo interpretation of the three witches around a steaming pan of water and vegetable gloop.
It is clearly too early to report unqualified success hence the question mark in the title. However, the mess burnt to the bottom of my pan looks like burnt vegetable soup. And I am reasonably confident that when the top two layers of taste buds grow back on my tongue it will taste somewhat like it was intended.
Note to self: Contents of steaming saucepan are very, very hot and only a moron would taste without cooling it first. Moron.
In any case I have now decanted the stewed primeval sludge into my flask and hope it will form lunch tomorrow. Having said that, if it gets struck by lightning in the meantime, I may have a sapient broth by morning.
Who knows?
