Could I sleep properly last night? No, I could not. I think I must have dozed since it wasn't one of those really boring, frustrating lie-on-your-back-and-stare-at-the-ceiling nights, but it certainly was one of those look-at-the-clock-every-hour affairs.

Of course, right now it means I could sleep until Christmas, but of course that's not much of an option is it?

I am meeting wallabok (he who never writes in his journal) and romney (he who rarely writes in his journal) for a pint at the club tonight. I doubt I'll stay too late; just enough alcohol to ensure a good night's kip, I think.

Ooo... another jaw-cracking yawn. Lovely.

a few swift halves perhaps? The last train to the Shires is at 21:00 (as decreed by my wife)so I would not expect a late night for anyone unless Ferg (sans LJ) decides he needs to visit some Den of Iniquity or othher

Unfortunately (for him rather than us), Mr Fidler is in Casablanca all week. I'm not sure he's visiting Rick's Bar, but you never know....which leaves us really with the unpredictable Mr Wood

I am often hyper-active in the evenings and *know* I *should* sleep but am too busy and don't feel tired .. until I wake up 4 hours later early in the morning and REGRET it sooo much, in the mornings I can sleep forever.. :)

Yes, I seem to be becoming increasingly nocturnal when left to my own devices.

Maybe I should get myself a Gollum icon - grey skin and big, luminous eyes.... ;-)
