caddymanI am less than keen on the new LJ layout. Anyone care to guide a semi-computer literate chap through putting it back as was?
Well, the cricket was OK. Nice to meet up with some friends, but 165 runs in an afternoon isn't especially attacking batsmanship. On the other hand, after Trescothick's recent performances, he is probably right playing defensive, staying in and frustrating the hell out of the bowlers. It's slow, effective and not entirely entertaining. His batting was less conservative, more reactionary. Still, 165 for 2 is respectable. Pity about the Souith African 1st innings total.
Of course, the fact that there was no Victoria Line (again!) south of the river made getting home especial fun, because the Northern Line was also chocca on account of the Test crowds.
So, bus home.
I should do that more often. I haven't been on the bus for ages and didn't know that there'd been so many changes in the Vauxhall area. You don't notice from the Tube.
Odd that.
Changing the subject - is it just my 56k dial up, or is LJ particularly arthritic this evening?
