The monsoon has arrived. We don't have monsoons, but it's arrived...

It's weird. Very little has kept me awake or woken me since I moved here - people slamming the fire door in the morning, but that really is quite loud. But last night I was woken by the rain. It was just torrential and just in time for camping tomorrow... Great

Apocalyptic weather over here too. Winds are strong enough to blow the bins over, they are. Makes a welcome change from all that horrid sunshine, mind you.

Indeed. Sunshine is most overrated. If I'd liked it, I would have arranged to have been born in a more equatorial country.

Nope. Rain, wind and hail. That's the stuff of north-west Europe.
