Well I might have an idea for a bijou projectette over the weekend - or more precisely Saturday since laundry most emphatically has to be done on Sunday.

Baggy's comment about Manga on yesterday's (or more accurately now, the day before's) post gave me an idea, so courtesy [livejournal.com profile] romney's printer which actually works, as opposed to my dust encrusted museum piece which may work if I give it a REALLY thorough clean and new ink cartridges, I have printed off a photo of Columbine from NWO Rome and intend to use it as the basis of a manga style rendition of the character either in coloured pencil or in pencil and water colour, depending upon which medium I manage to dig out first. Knowing me it will probably end up as a hybrid of the two media.

If it works, I'll post it up. If it doesn't I shall never mention it again.

Having printed the Picture In Question, I can report the character would apper most suitable for further "Caddification".

But be warned. I believe every Manga Girl usually turns out to be goddess, is related to a goddess or becomes a goddess. Failing that she marries a god. Be prepared to cope with the lifestyle change.

She is also often accompanied by some small and strange creature, a flying familiar that only she can see and which gets her into all sorts of trouble. The best option is to carry a fly-swat and dispense with the little monster early in epidode one.

She is also most likely to be trapped on an alternate plane/hell dimension/Japanese girls school for an episode/eternity/summer term.

There may or may not be tentacles involved, which I trust Caddyman will not be including in the painting.

Not much, rambling as usual!

But you're the one planning to do a manga drawing when I'm not aware you read much manga or watch any Anime.

But I'm sure you will do a splendid drawing, you always do once you are over the creative blocks, self-criticism, doubt and lack of Process White.
