caddymanAh, we've wondered (well, some of us, at any rate) what they meant by a redesigned Dalek for the 21st century.
Well, now we know.
Not that different to the old ones, but somehow clunkier, dirtier, more metallic and more menacing. Radio controlled, too rather than having some poor sap sat inside, pedaling.
They have bigger eye stalks, more pronounced 'sensors' on the head (the flashy light bits) and wider skirting to hide rocket packs to allow them a hover capability; thus dispensing with the old stairs chestnut, apparently.
With any luck, this minor reworking will give them back the sense of menace they enjoyed back in 1963...
