I stopped listening after they got Mr Warne out, Ghatany was remarkably calm and even explained why the last man out wasn't really out at all *shuuush*
Thanks for letting me watch it on your telly rather than the cartoon the Tivo was trying to record. It was definitely more nerve-wracking than any five-day game has the right to be!
What is this strange language you are all speaking? Cricketese? I endured enough pointless sporting activity at school to last me ten lifetimes. I agree with the poor chap who lives too near Edgbaston, overrun by people who seem to enjoy watching paint dry.
While I agree with you whole-heartedly about the school sport thang, this is something entirely different, and you know not wot where or whit of which you speak. So nyar.
Speak not again of school 'sports'. It brought me out in hives just thinking on it. We had some good natters on thiose long cross country walks, though, as I recall.
Those many years of being forced to take part in school sports, by those bored, demeaning sadists, have left deep scars. It's all odious, boring, pointless shite. Living in America, where sports fanatics are even more, er, fanatical than in the U.K., hardens my enthusiastic hatred of such pursuits.

Then jubilation.
Oh, my poor blood pressure.
Cricket? Schmicket.
