This will mean nothing to most of you, but erstwhile NWO writers and some of the player base will recognise the reference.

It seems that eight centuries after the arch mage Casus Belli last visited the place, scientists have rediscovered Sola Volcano. That they are now calling it Empedocles shouldn't distract anyone in the know from the realisation that it is the same place!

Yes! Divers will probably find the slopes littered with circular cement objects with boots embedded in them, whose owners have long since been eaten by aquatic creatures.
