Highly retarded typing skills

Luckily I noticed before I sent the email.

You see, spell checkers are all very fine and dandy, but they don’t pick up correctly spelt words that are out of place. This sort of thing happens from time to time and usually it doesn’t matter too much, but the close juxtaposition of the 'G' and 'T' keys on a QWERTY keyboard can sometimes lead to unfortunate misunderstandings.

With this in mind, I was pleased to notice, before I sent the email, that I had signed off with the word "retards" in place of "regards". That might have been fun if taken the wrong way by the recipient.

Do you also regularly type Someplaceshite instead of Someplaceshire, or is that just one of my personal finger issues?

My favourite is probably asking people (in online games and conversations) if they're busty, or do they have time for a quick chat? My fingers want to type that T. Bad fingers, bad.

I haven't managed that one, no. But I have had to set Word to automatically correct "thong" to read "thing" and "thew" to "the".

Cor, there's something Freudian happening here, by the looks of it.

My two favourites 'delaers' for 'dealers' - which at least gets picked up by spillchuckers, and 'sued' for 'used', which doesn't and can really cause confusion.
