Ah now then, the new Radio Times cover for all you Who geeks out there.

The cover is a spoiler all of its own, so you needn't look

I've had mornings like that, too.

Wow, the Daleks are back in Dr Who?
Is Russell T involved in the scripting again?

What's the feeling that Saturday's episode is the first of a few that will highlight the Master's machinations?
After all - "You are not alone...."

Well we all knmow that John Simm is playing baddie Mr Saxon in the final two parter of the season. A lot of people are saying he's the Master. Who knows?

Of course, Romana has been in E-Space since 1980, so may have missed the whole time war thing.

Depending on how canonic the books are, she returned to Gallifrey and was President for a while. The Doc had a brother in the books, who also became President (possibly even at the the time of the Time War.)

Is that confirmed?

Could be Romana - albeit with a different face.

The Radio Times cover looks a lot more hip than it did the last time I saw it in 1990. Hey, just a minute ... that's my ex-wife! Argh!

Am I the Master, or am I going mad?

Well I'm not going to hold my breath on the basis of the last series finales, but it could be interesting.

But will he have the goatee of evil?

I enjoyed the season 2 finale.

Anyway, as I said, he's down to play Mr Saxon who has been foreshadowed in Touchwood and Who so far. Whether or not Saxon is the Master is all speculation. Be nice to know how he escaped from the Eye of Harmony in the TARDIS. Mebbe it sicked him up?

Fair play - I think I'm in the 'less than enamoured' group of viewers.

There's a Mr Saxon mentioned in Torchwood?

When did the Master get locked in the eye?

1a) "Vote Saxon" posters outside the (present day) Dance Hall

1b) I think that there was a 'phone conversation between Jack and someone that included Saxon's name (in the context of the Opposition party)

2) Paul McGann TV movie 8th doctor
