Despite the unintentional slope (I accidentally tilted the camera), this view across the the bed of what once would have been Lake Lapworth is, I think, quite nice. Next time I shall try and sit on the other side of the train so I can get a decent picture of The Wrekin.

There's a few pictures on my flickr account, if anyone has even a passing interest: http://www.flickr.com/photos/88732760@N00/sets/72157600214211067/

The one thing that the special effects (skies) department can do is cloud formations and shades of grey. They always have a lot left over so they pile em all into the end of April which gets too full and spills over into May. I think they should get an Oscar (or equivalent) for some of the skies they produce at this time of the year. Anyone can do plain blue but these are magnificent!
Oh and Shrewsbury has to be one of my favourite stations because is is mostly bridge over the Severn AND when we were playing the number plates game I caught 46, 47 and 48 all parked in the car park

Ooh, lovely, thank you for that, Bry. Working in my little grey box here in downtown San Burpardino, I fondly remember the greenness of the countryside between Derby and Newport several weeks ago as we drove back and forth to see my parents. Stacey loved the landscape as we rolled through it on the train. I shall direct her attention to this page.
