It is very sad indeed. I Leamington there is a big Polish centre building which I think must have come from the immeadiate post war period. In addition there is a small fountain in the shape of a parachute commemorating members of the free Czech army who assasinated Reinhart Heidriech. All this serves to remind us on a day to day basis of the individual and personal tragedy of war as well as the vast sweeps of history.
