I have been looking through old family photographs.

By crackey, I was rather trim when I was 18 and I still had hair. Was I ever that youthful? Lordy, Mama, where did the years go and the pounds come from? Oh yes, I remember, now. Thirty years of junk food, beer and idle living.

I could kill myself trying to get back to that weight.
