Pictures from Wales (Part II)

I have uploaded a heap of pictures onto Flickr following my week away in Wales. On reflection, I shall probably take most of them back off so I can use the space for better snaps - I really must dig out the instruction book for my Cybershot and work out how to get the best out of it.

In the meantime, I shall keep this one because I like the dramatic sky, though the rest of the lighting is very poor:



I shall keep this one too. We were treated to a series of really beautiful sunsets, one of which I snapped on my Razr and posted up a day or two ago. This is a rather better quality snap from the Cybershot.



The majority of the rest of the pictures are taken from a moving car, which I suspect has done nothing for the lighting and composition. The reflections from the windscreen are distracting, too. That said, one or two have come out surprisingly well and give you a hint of just how beautiful that part of the world is.

I loved the way the sky looked and was really pleased when I saw the full sized picture. I just wish the foreground was a little (but not too much) lighter.

Some of the pictures came out reasonably well all things considered, but many will need to be ditched, I think.

Don't tell everyone how beautiful it is here in the Principality! they will all come here in their big cars and their swanky clothes. Our beautiful country should be enjoyed quietly not with loads of tourists following us around and commenting on our funny accent - they talk funny too you know!
